You sighed in defeat as you let go of your friend’s hand. He had been whining about buying ‘space stuff’ as he called it. Sometimes, you didn't understand why you even became friends with him.

       Oh wait. Now you knew, because you two had something in common.

    You liked space. Not as in space itself. You liked astronomy. You were planning to be an astronomer when you were older, but for now, you just studied the stars with your friend, Space Core.
 
     You wished ‘Space Core’ would tell you to call him something else other than Space Core. But he somehow loved the name and wouldn't let you call him anything else. Annoying, really. But you got used to it after a while.
Space Core ran up to you and grabbed your shoulders, “Space. Space. I want to go to space. Let’s go to space (y/n)!” He giggled like a moron and twirled. That was always something that annoyed you. His twirling. He…just wouldn't stop. Annoyed and cranky, you walked over to him and grabbed his hands, so now he couldn't twirl or do anything.

        “Look…Space Core….Please stop. You’re my friend. And I just want you to calm down, alright? Please?”

Space Core just looked at you, grinned, and replied, “Space.”
